AddTo Portland OR shows you favorite locations like  the Rose Gardens, Jackson Tower clock, the Aerial Tram, the Grotto, East Bank Esplanade and less well known places like the Statue of Liberty in Oak Grove, Lucky Lab brew pubs, great coffee shops and food carts like Whiffies.  Like other AddTo apps, AddTo Portland lets you create your own map, photo album and travel diary.

HubPages has reviewed AddTo travel apps and says they may be the “Wave of the Future”, calling them “a great little travel app”.  You don’t have to join a social network to share your travel insights, you can email your map, comments and photos directly to whomever you wish.  Keep in touch with your friends as you travel, even the offline social network you have.

AddTo SF comes with photos of the Golden Gate Bridge, the Palace of Fine Arts, cable cars, Fisherman’s Wharf, Golden Gate Park and more.  You can see a map of where these places are in San Francisco and build your own map as you travel.

map of New YorkWith AddTo applications you get a map to see everywhere you have made notes or taken photos.  You also get a second map from us.  Each AddTo application comes with content specific to the location it is made for.  To the left is the map of New York City that comes in AddTo NYC.  There are map annotations you can click on to see great places to visit or things to see in New York City.

With AddTo you can build your own map with clickable annotations that take you to your own custom notes or photos.  Build an album of notes and photos that know where you were when you created them, then view your map of locations and select an annotation to see exactly what you were thinking of at that place.

Everything you write or take photos of can be exported using email.  The map can also be exported via email.  Your data is for you.

The idea behind AddTo is to let you write your own travel guide.  With AddTo you can type notes, take photos and build an album about your travel.  Your entire album or any entry can be exported via email whenever you with.  If you allow location, then your entries are location stamped and you build up a map where you can see where you have made notes or taken a photo.  You can also export the map using email.

AddTo NYC has photos and information about some of the great places to visit in New York City such as Times Square, the Statue of Liberty, the Brooklyn Bridge, the Metropolitan Museum of Art, the new High Line Park and more.
